Therapeutic Integrated Massage
A combination of techniques is used to personalize each session. Long, gliding Swedish massage stokes, focused deep tissue and myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, therapeutic grade essential oils, and stretching may be used to target and soothe painful stressed muscles.
The structural changes that a woman’s body experiences during pregnancy can be very profound and some of the most drastic in her lifetime. Massage during pregnancy is a wonderful way for the mother-to-be to take some time for herself and for her body to relax from the daily changes. Using the side lying position, therapeutic massage is given to the body to help relieve aches and pains from ligaments and muscles of the middle and low back. Also, attention to the legs and feet are included to help with possible swelling. Typically a full body session is in order; however, the session is designed to accommodate each individual and their needs at each stage in their pregnancy.
Lymphatic Drainage for the Sinuses
Lymphatic Drainage Massage technique is very light and rhythmic. It is specially created to primarily move lymphatic fluid. It is performed directly on the skin with no oils. The experience is very soothing and relaxing.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage on the face, head, and neck will help reduce sinus pressure and pain. It will also aid in decreasing lymphatic congestion and stagnation after illness. And it has the added benefit of being a facial beautifying treatment as well!
On-Site Chair Massage
Chair massage is a style of seated massage in which the client relaxes in a supported position between kneeling and sitting, with the neck and back accessible to the therapist. The massage is performed through the client’s shirt and no oil or lotion is used. The massage focuses on the neck, back shoulders, arms and hands, the most common areas where people hold stress and tension. Each massage is 10-15 minutes, depending on the number of people in your group and the time allotted.
On-site massage can be incorporated into your workplace on a regular (bi-weekly or monthly) basis, after a particularly stressful project, or for a special occasion. Chair massage also makes a unique and relaxing addition to any gathering.
